get these free tools... adaware(lavasoft.com) spybot(safer-networking.org) HiJackThis(trend.com) winsockfix v1.2(majorgeeks.com) CCleaner (ccleaner.com)

install and run the adaware/spybot updater

disable restore

start-run-apps-accessories-sys... disk cleanup

reboot safe mode w/ networking (continually press f8 upon reboot)

Run adaware and spybot deleting anything they find.

Run Hijackthis (this shows all BHO's on ur browser~very important)

Run CCleaner (Repair/delete anything it finds)

Run free online scan (trend.com bitdefender.com pandasoftware.com) remove any findings

Run winsockfix v1.2

reboot

enable restore

Has your ISP provided you with a pop up blocker tool which will stop pop ups.

First turn on your pop-up blocker in IE. Click on Tools%26gt;Internet Options%26gt;Privacy. Check the box to turn it on. Now to clean up your machine from spyware which is most likely causing your pop-ups use the programs below.

I suggest 2 programs. Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware. These programs will be most effective if you run them in Safe Mode. On many computer you can get there by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as soon as your computer starts to boot. Then use your arrow keys to select Safe Mode.

If you have pop-ups you have spyware. pop up blockers just hide the pop ups but do not cure the problem. (your processor will still be very busy dealing with them) go to http://www.download.com/Spyware-Doctor/3...

and download spyware dr (the best spyware scanner %26amp; ive tried them all) Once spyware is deleted your processor will now its full power back to do what you want it to do. Not be constantly busy blocking pop-ups and eventually crash your computer

I would suggest you to install Firefox. http://getfirefox.com. It is the secure browser.
do not use I.E anymore start using firefox its much better and no more pop-ups, all the best
