Internet explorere error keeps popping up?windows registry

You might try "system restore" by going to "start"- "control panel"- "system" and following instructions (Windows XP)

If you are able to open Explorer after that, then go to Microsoft and download the latest version of Explorer and all the necessary security updates.

Use your antivirus. Get one online free if you don't have one.

Search for and download free Spybot Search and Destroy (do not use names that sound close- use only this program- others are malware) at http://download.com , then go to http://lavasoft.com and get a free version of Ad-Aware... use them both...and clean up your registry with Microsoft Regclean, available free at http://majorgeeks.com

Simple: Ditch internet explorer and get another browser.
Hi, we can help you more if you add additional details to your question about what the error message says.

It could be a network problem, it might be maleware, or it could be something else entirely.

If it's maleware you may want to try using Firefox.

More detail will help us give you a better answer. Good luck!
I was getting an "overstack" error which closed IE down quite often. I blocked the cookies from Yahoo and it hasn't happened since. Right click on the IE icon on your desktop and set the 'security' function up a notch. Worked for me.
what are the specifics to the problem.

is it an IE error that stops the IE and then restarts it?

if that is the case, you probaly have a corrupt file somewhere.

is it a popup or maleware that you have inadvertinly downloaded from a site. (did you click on a scan my computer pop up?)

there are many tools out there to fix that, because there are many possibilities that can cause problems. the major problem is a BHO, those are handy tools that assist you in your browsing. like tool bars and the like. however, they can be missused to!

anyway with a little work and research, you can find the correct tool to use. and there are many such tools at www.majorgeeks.com however care should be used here, don't play with what you don't understand unless you are willing to lose everything on your computer and do another install.

let me preach here just three words --- backup --- Backup - BACKUP!!!!!

if you have WinXP you can do a restore to a previous date, pick a date before the problem occured, and it might, just might fix the problem.

good luck
just go true to the http://www.oldversion.com or you can use opera it's also better.
use windows defender and ad aware. Defender can be found at www.microsoft.com, and ad aware can be found at www.download.com. These two programs will remove anything causing this. If the Operating system is already damaged, you will have to re install windows. If not, these programs will do the trick, and both are free.
