my current internet explorer is makeing my computer run slow and freez. every time i exit out of the internet i have to send an error report because internet explorer isnt working properly... how and where do i go to get a new version that best fits my computer?

This sounds like you have IE7, which is the latest. Look for it under control panel/ add remove programmes and uninstall. Or go for Firefox, it's far more secure.

This happened with me too and later i got to know that my ie7 was hacked and my computer was filled with trojans and worms. Then i reinstalled ie7 from microsoft.com and for sometime used firefox which very good and secure than ie7.
You can also use mozilla firefox.
