Is not enough RAM the problem?
I keep gettings a message, "Internet explorer has encountered an error and needs to close," What is going on?internet explorer download
Hi
This has nothing to do with your system memory.
Its one of the ADD-Ons that are installed into you Internet explorer. To find out which one is causing your problem do as follows;
Start the Internet explorer and go to the Tools menu at the top of the page.
Within the Tools-menu goto Manage ADD-ons
Disable ALL the ADD-ons that are showing in the box
Close IE
Start IE again, and close it again, if your problem has disappeared , enable your ADD-ons one for one until you hit into your problem again.
Remove the faulty ADD-on
-R.
I keep gettings a message, "Internet explorer has encountered an error and needs to close," What is going on?windows xp internet explorer
I get this all the time also!!!! wow I thought I was the only one?
Sounds like it got corrupted.
It doesn't sound like ram is the problem. Whatever it is you should definitely download firefox it is so much better
If this is the first time it's happened then just restart your computer and that might work. Otherwise just install the Firefox web browser.
I get this message in Vista sometimes (increasingly more recently). I don't think RAM is the issue (I have 2 gig in my laptop.
I believe this is just another bug in IE. I agree, firefox is less buggy but I've come across websites that will only function with IE.
Back to your problem, restart or close the browser if comes up once in your session. More than once, reboot.
This problem is because of a .dll file.
To manually resolve this problem, update the Pdm.dll file by installing the appropriate upgrades.
If you are running Windows 98 or Windows Millennium Edition (Me), the following upgrades do not install an updated version of Pdm.dll. The only resolution currently available is to upgrade your operating system.
If you are running Microsoft Office 2000, upgrade to Microsoft Office 2000 Service Release 1 (SR-1). For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...
If you are running Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0, upgrade to Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Service Pack 3 (SP3) or later. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio...
If you are running the Microsoft Script Debugger, upgrade to a newer version. For more information, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/detai...
Manual steps to disable script debugging in Internet Explorer, follow these steps:
1.Start Internet Explorer.
2.On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3.On the Advanced tab, click to select the Disable Script Debugging check box in the Browsing section.
4.Click OK, and then restart Windows.
Do you get this message everytime you open Internet Explorer? Are you using IE6, Windows XP SP2? Did you do a recent update from Microsoft?
If yes to the above quesions then read on...
Windows XP w/ Service Pack 2 running Internet Explorer 6 after installing security update 942615. This security update caused all kinds of problems, I ended up deleting the update but now there seems to be a "fix" for the issue.
