I was having this same problem this week, in particular when using Yahoo Mail.

After reading lots of similar Q%26amp;As, I downloaded Mozilla Firefox. It worked and I wasn't having any trouble using Yahoo Mail through Firefox.

Then, for the heck of it I opened IE7 to try it out again, and it's now working too!!!! Go figure. I have no idea why. Very frustrating. But at least it's working without shutting down when I try to use email.

My suggestion: stop using Internet Explorer and start using Mozilla Firefox or Opera. Both are much faster, more secure, and, for lack of a better term, sleeker.
switch to firefox,
I used to have this problem at work. Turns out we were running Windows 98. It was suggested to me to reinstall the original Windowns 98 driver and that should do it. Never got around to doing it because we got new systems, Windows XP...much better.
Find the 2 files listed on the bottom of your list and delete them. You need to clean your disk with a good cleaner program.
Why would you want to use IE just switch to Firefox or Opera
