Internet Explorer cannot Display Webpage with Windows Vista?

I have been having trouble accessing only a few websites on internet explorer on my new laptop. It gives me an error message saying that Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. I really need to use these websites and I can't get to them. I have checked my connections and those are fine and it's not the site itself because other people have been able to access it ( I don't believe they have Vista), and I have actually contacted the websites themselves. Does anyone know of similar problems and how possibly to fix this??

Well if Internet Explorer wont work for you. Use something else Opera or FireFox. I recomend Opera. Bother are better than Internet Explorer in almost every way, although it might take alittle getting used to.

Try microsoft on line support
My daughter has Vista also, and was having problems, too. It turned out she hadn't downloaded the available updates for Vista. I don't know if that's your problem or not, but it's worth checking into. Good luck.
It sounds like your internet access is going in and out. My router kept going on and off line and doing the same thing. It is hard to catch if that is the problem though.

Try just hitting refresh when you are trying to get to the site. If you can get it eventually, then ti HAS to be an internet access problem, anywhere from you PC to your service provider.

Good luck!
