Firefox and opera not working but internet explorer works..?

guys i started my pc today after 4 days and i was getting a message everytime i started firefox ,to update but i clicked on later all time and today i accidently clicked update and the browser started updating but after that when i launched the browser it says error site cannot be found. so i uninstalled firefox and tried again but it was still giving the same message that cannot be found error but my internet explorer is working fine..so i downloaded opera and was hoping that firefox was corrupted or something but opera also gives the same message that page cannot be found and error when i launch it...so please help me guys because i dont like using internet explorer i am addicted to firefox...i hope someone has a solution for this problem i have...

I think you have to change Firefox's network settings. Here is what you do:

1. Start Firefox

2. On the menu bar go to Tools %26gt; Options %26gt; Advanced %26gt; Network tab %26gt; click [Settings] %26gt; under "Configure proxies to access the Internet," select "Direct connection to the Internet."

sounds like you need to set up the proxy server settings in foxfire and opera.....

check ie to see what the proxy settings are
