Each time i close internet explorer i get an error?

start up in safe mode (F8)

go into the following folders and delete all the contents including folders in there

open windows explorer

kill everything in them, spare NONE !

- delete all files and folders in this directory !

C:\Documents and Settings\user_name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\*.*

- delete all files and folders in this directory !

-----------------

C:\windows\temp\*.*

- scan and view anything that looks odd (maybe delete)

and then empty RECYCLE BIN

--------------------------------------...

After that scan for virus and spyware if u have the program/s.

Then restart in normal startup and see if this continues. If it does then I strongly and urgently request you to reinstall your Operating System

You need to tell us what the error says. If I were you though, I'd use Firefox instead.

What error?

Try to optimization for Internet Explorer... for that,

1. Delete cookies, temproary internet files and clear History

2. Go to Advanced Tabm click on "Restore Defaults"

3. Close the internet explorer and restart the computer.
yes i have had the same prob, check and make sure you have enough space on your hard drive, too much mem can cause ur pc to shutdown programs which use explorer as well as win media player. (there r many other reasons, but this worked 4 me)
Run a Disk utility software such as TUNE UP UTILITIES or SYSTEM MECHANIC, its very effective, if it does not work, run SCANDISK then DEFRAG ur PC, still does not work, REFORMAT UR SYSTEM, but in some cases, there is a problem on ur Physical memory (RAM module), scratch it with a pencil eraser or u might replace it
