I tried changing cookies to enable all, didn't work, I updated IE, still doesn't work. I even downloaded Firefox and it won't open the link yet other people can open it. I have a current Adobe Acrobat Reader. I even tried shutting down my firewall. I could use any suggestions anyone has.

make sure you downloaded your hot fixes. windows updates. if this does not work reinstall IE
Almost sounds like you have activex blocked. If you have a firewall shuter down and if there is a little yellow toolbar that pops up under your IE toolbar right click and allow
Try these stepsl:
Internet Explorer; click: Tools -%26gt; Internet Options -%26gt; Programs Tab. Next, click Reset Web Settings, and Make sure to also uncheck "reset my home page" check box. Finally, go to Advanced tab and click Restore Defaults
