i like hardly ever use internet explorer i pretty much just use it to get windows updates but today i used it and when i went to some sites it kept saying internet explorer has encountered and error and needs to close so i got to a few more pages then its fine then its not so what could be the problem and how do i reinstall internet explore 6 bc i have system pack 2 and i know how to do it when i had system pack 1?

I don't know what kind of computer you have but try to upgrade to IE 7 and that may solve your problem...since you only use it once in a while I don't think it would be a problem...

i assume that you know how to uninstall it so if you want to reinstall it you'll need to have the winxp sp2 cd. go to control panel%26gt;Add or Remove Programs and go to Add/Remove Windows Component..read the instruction carefully before intalling especially which to check and uncheck...it's all written in the upper side of the box
