Everytime I try to open Internet Explorer by its shortcut, It gives me an error?

It says, "If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost. Please tell Microsoft about this problem." and so on and has those "Send Error Report" and "Don't Send" buttons. I can access Internet Explorer by shortcuts to support.microsoft.com/gp/pc_ie_methodfiv... but that's about it. How can I make the original Internet Explorer shortcut work again without erroring?

Try deleting the shortcut and then pull up the icon from your start menu and drag it( It will tell you that you can't drag but it can make a shortcut. Do it. Using this short cut should work. The other was probably corrupted.
