Internet Explorer Proplem?

When i go into Internet Explorer, i get the following Error message, Please could anyone tell me what it means and how to resolve the problem?:

Cannot find File C/Program%20files/aol%20toolbar/welcome....

Make sure the path or internet address is correct.

Uninstall AOL Toolbar via Add/Remove Programs and then see if the problem

persists.

add and remove programs

remove programs you are not using

click start bottom left on task bar

control panel

add and remove programs

find the program(s) you want to remove

choose remove

reinsall if needed

check status as you do it

don"t remove what you don"t what it is

It might be a spyware.

U need to have a spyware program and update it. run a full system scan.

Better i would suggest u goto switch over to mozilla firefox browser, its really fast and safe than IE.

Try the Windows knowledge base to define error messages, but I would start by checking your waste bin, you may have inadvertantly dropped a page that windows uses.

If so, right click it and send it back.

Then check your internet settings.

I cant be more specific as you did not mention which browser you use, beyond ie.
Maybe someone who changed the settings of your Internet explorer. Try to fix it by changing the Internet Options or try to follow what the comp said unto you.
What page is it meant to load when you start it up? It might be trying to load a page on your harddrive that's been deleted... looks like an AOL one
or you could disable the AOL toolbar

go to tools%26gt;manage add-ons%26gt;enable or disable

highlight the aol toolbar then select disable
