On internet explorer, I frequently get the 404 error. I go to tools, Internet Options, Connections, Settings, and check Automatically Detect Settings but then it somehow comes unchecked and I get the message all over again. I don't notice a pattern as to where and when the auto dectect feature gets dropped. Is there a way to lock it in position so that it cannot be unchecked?
